Thanksgiving weekend a fatal accident on Jacksonville’s Westside claimed the life of Callie Crump. Callie Crump was only 36 years old she was employed by the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. According to Florida Highway Patrol, Callie Crump was stopped due to traffic when her Toyota Corolla was rear ended by a Ford Expedition on I-10 eastbound at U. S. Highway 301 in Baldwin. The crash involved multiple vehicles that left an infant and two children among the seriously injured victims. The children were passengers in the Ford Expedition. The driver of the Expedition Wanda Jones and a 22 year old passenger was also injured in that vehicle. The impact of the Ford Expedition pushed Callie Crump’s vehicle into a Jeep Patriot the driver of the Jeep was seriously injured. Tragically seven were injured one fatality. Callie Crump was remembered as a kind, generous woman of faith. She will be greatly missed by friends, family, fellow Trinity Baptist Church members and her little dog Buddy.
