A mother stopped for speeding in McIntosh County Georgia gave the Police Officer cause for concern as he viewed the condition of her baby son’s car safety seat. He agreed to waive the speeding ticket and requested she purchase a new car seat for her baby. Sgt. Jeremiah Jerrell’s request was met with tears from the mom as she explained she could not afford another safety seat. Sgt. Jerrell made a trip to Walmart and purchased a new car seat with his own money from the store. He presented the new car seat to the Mom the same day. The mom was grateful for Sgt. Jerrell’s gift.
